Share What You Know

I’m just back from the Seattle, Washington area where I gave a well-received keynote talk and workshop to over 600 mental health practitioners.  Thankfully, I have great support in my life that enables me to show up and deliver what I do know.

What am I learning these days?  That my passion and knowledge of conscious aging is growing.  Plus, the pro-aging tools that I offer are beneficial for all ages and gender, not just for mid-life women.

For example, on my way home from the conference, a gentleman in his early 40’s, stopped me in the airport and asked if I had a few minutes. He told me that he had wandered into my workshop because I had some empty chairs at the back of the room and the other workshops didn’t.  I thought, Oh Boy, where is this going?

What he shared next, is what blew me away.

I was completely fascinated with what you were bringing together about aging, addiction and recovery.  I’d never heard anyone talk about the impact of how our anti-aging society and attitudes affect our health. And you offer solutions!  Your workshop was my favorite part of the entire two-day conference.  I’m going to share your book with my wife and I know that I’ll be thinking about it with my own life.”

I thanked him with a surprised and touched heart.  And I thank you with a full heart, for taking the time to read my blogs and to share them with interested others.

What are YOU learning these days?  Your perspective is unique.  Share what you know with another person.  Today, make that connection.  In my own experience, it can beautifully enhance their life and your own.

With Love & Light,
